How to Enable Tributes

Tributes allow donors to dedicate their gifts in honor or in memory of someone, adding a meaningful layer to the giving experience. By enabling tributes and E-cards on a giving form, you can collect tribute details, offer donors the option to notify recipients, and manage how tribute information is used and communicated.

Configuring Tributes

1. Navigate to Campaigns > Select a Campaign > Select a Giving Form.
2. In the Elements Library, click Tribute within the More Options section and enable it.
3. Enter a Section Title that will appear in the Tribute modal.
4. Select which tribute details you want to collect from the donor, including name prefix, email, address, and a personal message.
5. Add a message explaining how the tribute information will be used.

Configuring E-cards

Configuring the E-card

1. Enable Include E-card below the Tribute configurations.
2. Enter a Section Title that will appear in the Tribute modal.
3. Give the donor instructions for filling out the E-card.
4. Enter the Organization Message, which appears in the E-card email body.
5. Choose whether you'd like to Allow Donor to Add Custom Message.
6. Upload up to four E-card images (no more than 10mb each) for the donor to select.
7. Publish your Giving Form.

The Donor Experience

During the donation process, donors can choose whether their tribute is made In Honor of or In Memory of someone. They may also opt out of sending an E-card if they do not know the recipient’s email address, while still providing tribute details.

At any point before completing the donation, donors can review and edit their tribute and E-card information.

The Recipient Experience

The E-card email received by the tribute recipient reflects the customizations made by both the organization and the donor, including selected images and personalized messages.

The appearance and content of the E-card will vary based on these settings.
