Identifying Charges on Your Bank Statement

Why donation processing charges may appear under different processor names.

Charges related to donation processing do not always appear under your platform name on bank statements. Instead, they often reflect the names of the underlying payment processors responsible for securely handling card and ACH transactions.

This article explains why you may see unfamiliar processor names on your bank statement and how to identify them.

Why Processor Names Appear on Bank Statements

Donation transactions are routed through merchant processors that handle settlement, compliance, and fund movement. As a result, charges and deposits may display the processor’s legal or abbreviated name rather than your fundraising platform. This is standard practice across the payments industry and supports accurate reconciliation and regulatory compliance.

Common Processor Descriptions You May See

CardConnect

CardConnect is iDonate's primary credit card processing partner. Charges related to card transactions may appear on your bank statement under a descriptor such as MerchantBankCD.

To avoid confusion during reconciliation, notify your accounting or bookkeeping team of this descriptor. If your bank allows it, you may also add CardConnect to your approved ACH list using the ACH ID G592126793.

Fiserv ACH (BlueChex)

Fiserv ACH, also known as BlueChex, is the processor used for eCheck and ACH donations. Charges or deposits may appear under Fiserv or BlueChex-related identifiers.

For internal accounting purposes, inform your finance team that these entries are associated with ACH donations. If supported by your bank, you may add the ACH IDs, 0000000380 and 0383913206, to your approved list.

Jack Henry(ProfitStars)

Some organizations may see charges labeled JHA or Jack Henry on their bank statements. This reflects legacy ACH processing through ProfitStars.

If your organization previously used this processor, you may continue to see billing for a short period even after migrating to another ACH provider. This occurs because Jack Henry bills in arrears, and charges may appear for one to two months after service changes.
