Alabama Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries

The purpose of Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries is to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services.

THEIR PRIORITIES:

  • Providing homes for children

  • Providing professional counseling

  • Providing educational services and family assistance

  • Providing administration that maximizes resources

The Opportunity

  • Giving Tuesday donations for 2021 rose to $2.7 billion in the U.S. alone — roughly 1/3 of that total coming in through online donations.
  • Giving Tuesday email volume grew a reported 156% in 2021 over 2020.
  • 27 million adults donated on Giving Tuesday in 2021, that's up 6% from 2020.

iDonate's Solution

Empower advocates and volunteers with new tools to share their stories, amplify effective fundraising, and encourage compassionate giving. iDonate's Peer-to-Peer giving app allows nonprofits like Alabama Baptist the ability to turn their supporters into fundraisers and extend their fundraising efforts into their donors' networks.

Alabama Baptist enlisted foster care families to host Peer-to-Peer fundraising campaigns, communicating needs through their own stories of impact. The personal connection that was made from these foster care families hosting their P2P campaigns was hugely impactful and led to substantial fundraising results.
